Museum: Source BETA 1 Released
Zips @ 12:19 am pst on 1/13/08 - skins, maps, & textures
A rather ambitious map project, entitled Museum: Source was just released publicly this past week. When I say that this project is ambitious, it's no joke. Attempting to faithfully recreate a natural history museum for Counter-Strike: Source is no easy task when the designer modeled each bone in T-Rex skeleton displays found in the map.
The original CS Map was hugely popular and now I've redesigned the map from the ground up with dozens of custom models and textures. Huge, climbable dinosaur skeletons are the bomb targets. Bones go flying when the bombs detonate.

That map is looking amazing! If you want to try your hand at saving a natural history museum (or blow it up, if that's your thing), you absolutely need to download the first BETA (Filefront download link) this second. Good luck to the map author on their venture, and a special thanks to Theropod-X for bringing this to our attention.

The 1.6 map was great- this looks amazing. They did a great job with lighting, textures, details, and probably just everything.

It'd be nice to have a CS map that isn't just for fragging.
