CS: Source in Korea
rizzuh @
11:45 am pdt on 7/1/04 - counter-strike
Counter-Strike: Source (info - news) will be playable this weekend... if you're in Seoul, South Korea. In an interview with Driverheaven.net, Doug Lombardi announced that CS Source's first playable exhibition will be held in the technologically advanced country. Here's a tidbit or two from the interview:How is development progressing on Counter Strike: Source?Click here for the rest of the interview. Not surprisingly, Baskethead has yet to be interviewed by any major web presence.
[Doug Lombardi] Great. We're holding the first playable exhibition of it this weekend in Seoul, Korea.
Will Counter-Strike: Source be a stand alone retail game, or HL2 mod that can be purchased or downloaded, like the original Counter-Strike?
[Doug Lombardi] It's likely to be sold in a variety of ways. We will be releasing more specific info a bit closer to launch. (CSN note: Valve has said CS Source will be free for HL2 owners)

In other news I'm moving to Seoul, Korea for the weekend. Bozer and I already call the bunk beds. I'm curious as to if America will see any such perks like this. Not that any would be near me, but still. |

ok first of all, they're morons for startin in Seoul or w/e, their target market and the ones they depend on for profit are here in the states so another great idea from those morons.... second of all, ValVe will be bankrupt after HL2 so there will be no HL3 the bulb burns brightest just before it burns out, remember that |
