Introduction
It is actually quite easy to add commands to the command line, I will cover the 5 most popular ways of launching a game (Desktop Shortcuts, The All-Seeing Eye, GameSpy Arcade, GameSpy 3d and PingTool).which command line type do you want to edit?
Desktop Shortcuts
Note: if you use your CS shortcut, be sure to leave "-game cstrike" in!

» Okay, find your desktop shortcut to your game.
» Right click on the icon and a menu should appear. Go to the bottom of the menu and click on the Properties option.
» A dialog similar to the one below should appear.
» Click on the target field, at the end of the box is where you add commands. Make sure there's a space after each command.
The All-Seeing Eye Shortcuts

» Load up The All-Seeing Eye. Right click on the Half-Life or Counter-Strike Retail and go to Custom Config...


GameSpy Arcade Shortcuts

» Open GameSpy Arcade. Click on the GameSpy menu item and select Options.
» Select the Games tab and then select "Half-Life" or "Half-Life: Counter-Strike" (for retail users) from the list of games on the left.
» On the right of the window you'll see an Advanced Options menu; click it.
» Click on the input box and add commands at the end of the box. Make sure there's a space after each command.
GameSpy 3D Shortcuts

» Load up GameSpy and click on the GameSpy menu. A menu similar to the one below should appear.
» Click on Games And Filters
» A dialog which contains something similar to the following picture should appear.
» Go to the HalfLife section and click on the button next to the Command Line: option.
» A dialog similar to the following picture should appear.
» Click on the input box and add commands at the end of the box. Make sure there's a space after each command.
PingTool

» Load up PingTool and click on the File Menu a dialog similar to the one below should appear.
» Click on the Game Options option and a dialog similar to the one below should appear.
» Click on the Half-Life command line and executable input box and add commands at the end of the box Make sure there's a space after each command.
