i'm still having trouble, what are some common problems / solutions?
Server is enforcing consistency for model (model).mdl.

CS servers will automatically disconnect you if they detect a model in your installation that they do not like. There are a few things that can cause this:
    » You've tried to replace p_ump45.mdl or p_sg550.mdl These two models are "locked" in CS, and cannot be replaced. Delete them to fix the problem.

    » You've accidentally installed a CS1.5 model. None of the current models from CSN will cause this error. However, if you've been downloading from other sites and/or have old replacements around, installing them could cause this problem. Remove the p_ model of any recent additions to clear up this problem.

    » The files got copied into the wrong directories. Sometimes CS isn't happy when it has extra files in the wrong areas. Make sure you follow our guide on where to install your custom models.

    » The file you downloaded was corrupt. Perhaps you had a bad connection when you were downloading, and a few bits got misplaced. Re-download the file and try again. If it still fails, avoid that skin.
I installed the files, but I still see my default models.
    » First check to make sure each file is in the correct directory. While the Steam\skins directory may look like a good place to put models, it's only used for skinning the Steam interface, not CS models.

    » Unconfirmed: The file may be capitalized incorrectly. If you use NTFS (a file system sometimes used by Win NT/2k/XP computers), you might have issues with files not being found because NTFS is case-sensitive. There shouldn't be any capital letters in any of your file names. Make sure all model file names are in lower case.

My custom models are in the wrong hand!
    » This is caused by old, non CS1.6-compatible model replacements. Replace any old models (the ones in the wrong hand) you may have with updated ones, such as the quality CS1.6-compatible replacements featured on CSN.
