what is the console and how do i use it? what can i do with it?
The "console" is the area where a user can issue various commands into Counter-Strike to change options, define some values, and change some aesthetic parts of the gameplay experience.The default way to bring up the console has changed since previous versions with the newly-included GUI for Steam. Now, upon pressing the default console key (~ or `), the GUI will become availible over the game screen. Here, you can issue commands to the console, message friends, or browse for a new server.
