Since so many of you are complaining about the recent changes to the AWP, I figured you could use some eye candy to look at to distract you so you don't spam various obscenities over the chat, followed by a strict scolding from your onlooking parents. On a slightly more coherent note, this is my favorite AWP thus far in my Counter-Strike career, so check it out.

The AWP, a weapon of much controversy, due to it's one shot, one kill capability. This fact aside, the AWP is a nice looking weapon and as such it has been done by many. What makes an AWP replacement stand out these days?

At first glance, this AWP just looked like a reworking of this AWP. However, after trying it out in-game, I can safely say that this is the best AWP in our archives as of now.

A while back we featured an AWP with a model and skin both done by Lonewolf. This replacement uses the same model but with a skin by Thanez. In my opinion, neither is far superior to the other, but rather they are just styled differently.

It's been a good while since we featured an AWM (or AWP) as an SOTD, and I'm pleased to say that this one is really good. It's a re-skin/recolor of this model, and the result is very pleasing In fact, it makes a good counterpart to this scout because of its red scope lens.

Ladies and Gentlemen we have here today a quality reskin! Lonewolf's AWM (yes, AWM) has always appealed to me with its quality modelling and overall large size. The previous skins by Birdhouse and Lonewolf himself are outstanding but have been around for awhile. This skin is fresh from PENGUINwithM4A1's hard drive and it's definitely worth a look!
